I would like to sit in one to see how I like it if anyone lives nearby and doesnt mind. I live on Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, FL. I would consider driving an hour or two. Thanks! Elisa

HI! I'm in High Springs Florida, bout 25 miles south of Lake City. I think its a pretty far hike from Panama City though. I'd be happy to let you try it if your in town! Love, Love my four beat! I've only had it it a few months and really love it! I'm mad I spent so much money on a "slightly better" saddle SEVERAL times before I broke down and spent the money for a 4 beat. I probably spent more on the several that didnt work out!! LOVE MY 4 Beat!! Good Luck to you, let me know if I can help!

Yikes Google maps shows 4 hours, but how I drive it might be 3 1/2 haha. What size and style is yours? I'm looking to get a Western 16.

with the guarantee you might as well just order one . National Bridle Shop and I are so sure you are going to love your Imus 4-Beat™ saddle that we are offering an unprecedented . If, for any reason whatsoever, you decide you do not want to keep your saddle within 14 days of receiving it, call National Bridle Shop (800-251-3474) and arrange to have it shipped back to their store no questions asked. Why are we willing to go out on a limb like this? For two reasons: First, it is not simply our intention to sell saddles; rather, it is our goal to fit horses. A quality saddle is more than a purchase - it is a financial and emotional investment. So it's important that if the saddle doesn't suit you or your horse, that you don't feel 'stuck' with it. Secondly, with the lowest rate of returns in the saddle industry, we're very confident that the vast majority of buyers are going to be thrilled with this purchase - and this guarantee will help make it an even easier decision to order your Imus 4-Beat™ saddle.

I don't doubt I will LOVE the saddle, my concern is the seat fit. The website says I should be a 17 but all the 17's I've ridden in were too big and 16's seem to be perfect in other saddle brands. I'm 6' and 180 lb female.

Go ahead and get the 16 - you will love it. The twist is perfect and places you in the liberty equitation position which is closer to a bareback position. I'm on 5'4" but weigh considerably more than you and I never "feel" like my saddle is too small (with the exception of the horn sometimes.) I also don't feel like I'm being pushed out of the saddle even though it looks like I don't fit. I'm sure if I were smaller it would fit even better. Gypsy, you didn't say what size was suggested by the site and what size you have... I will have to agree with you though. The reccomendations and what works for me are not copasetic. I ride a 15" in other rigid tree saddles and a 15" in the Imus is just perfect. My advice is to get whatever seat size you like in other saddles. The Imus will just be much more comfortable, for you as well as your horse!

I think you might be happer with a 17" one. I'm 5'8 and 155 and found the 17 to be the better size for me (a good portion of my weight is carried in my butt!). The 16 did fit okay but I "nestled" better in the 17.

I didn't get a "recommendation" for seat size - I had 16" QH bar saddles that I was using before my purchase and just ordered a 16" ('course I was a bit smaller then, too.)

O.K., I meant the reccomendation on the homepage for seat sizes according to height and weight. It was not close at all for me.
